Anna Fuchs receives the 2026 "BVM Nachwuchsforscherin" Award

Anna Fuchs has won the "BVM Nachwuchsforscherin" Award for her Master's thesis examining LLM-generated survey items.
We are excited to share that the Master’s thesis of SODA's Anna Fuchs has been awarded the „BVM Nachwuchsforscherin“ Award! The award honours emerging researchers for outstanding work.
This is the second recognition for this work, which examines the use of LLM-generated survey items. Previously, the thesis, supervised by Dr. Anna-Carolina Haensch and Dr. Wiebke Weber, received the GOR Thesis Award from the German Society for Online Research. The paper based on the thesis was presented at this year’s AAPOR Annual Conference, where Anna received the AAPOR Student Conference Award.
