The Data Science for Social Good (DSSG) Munich programme is back!
In two weeks, 5 fellows from all around the world will arrive in Munich to begin their journey at DSSGx Munich 2026. For two months, they will work on one impactful data science project for the social good. This years project for the social good is in collaboration with the LMU University Hospital. The project aims to optimize the implementation of Collaborative Care for Depression in German primary care by identifying the most effective combinations of intervention components for specific patient profiles. Leveraging a dataset from the LMU University Hospital, the team will analyse how individual treatment elements impact outcomes to help with effective use of resources and improve patient recovery.
Mark your calendars for two key events: on 4 August 2026, we’ll host a Kick-Off Event to introduce the project and the fellows, and on 1 October 2026, a Closing Event will showcase the results.
