Prof. Frauke Kreuter was recognized for her service as AAPOR President and contributed to the opening plenary of the 2026 AAPOR Annual Conference.
Prof. Frauke Kreuter was bid farewell as President of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR).
During her term, she helped guide the association at a time when survey research and public opinion research are being shaped by new methodological challenges, generative AI, and questions of public trust.
At the 2026 AAPOR Annual Conference in Los Angeles, Frauke Kreuter joined AAPOR President Jordon Peugh and other leading researchers for the opening plenary, “Reclaiming Relevance: Trust, Innovation, and the Future of Public Opinion.” The session reflected on how the field can strengthen confidence in data and communicate research insights to the public.
