Laura Young

Since April 2024, Laura Young has been working as a research associate at the Institute for Statistics, Social Data Science Working Group, led by Prof. Dr. Frauke Kreuter. She lives in Mannheim and is pursuing her PhD at the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences (GESS) there. Before Mannheim and Munich, she completed the master’s program Sociology: Social Research at the University of Cologne and worked as a student assistant at the Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences (GESIS) in the Survey Data Curation department. In her master's thesis, she examined the prevalence of post-traumatic stress disorder in U.S. prisons.When she isn’t working on a systematic literature review, she enjoys hiking in the woods or playing cozy video games.
