Julia von Bartenwerffer

Julia has over a decade of professional experience in consulting and project management at the intersection of strategy, business, and IT. She likes to work in agile, international environments and has a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement and diverse perspectives. As part of the Senior Management of the consulting firm, she played a key role in the business development and organizational development of the company.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Cultural and Business Studies and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in IT and Learning at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. In her Master's program, Julia explores how technology can be leveraged to enhance learning in diverse contexts. She is particularly interested in capacity building within the public sector and the intersection of learning technology and digital health.
Julia joined the SODA Lab as a project manager for the Data Science for Social Good initiative, where she facilitated impactful collaborations between researchers and practitioners. Following this, she became part of the ADA Bayern project where she wants to contribute her skills to help build a sustainable initiative that supports data literacy capacity building in the public sector.
