Leo Kestel

Short Description

Leo Kestel joined the SODA Group in February 2025. He is part of the ADA Bayern project, which aims to support public authorities with data science methods. Before joining the group, he worked as an ML engineer and data scientist at Bytabo in Bamberg.

With a B.Sc. in Psychology and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Bamberg, Leo is interested in interdisciplinary research, especially in the use of machine learning algorithms as scientific methods, i.e. in psychology, social sciences, or humanities.
