Short Description

Paul received his Bachelor's in Politics and Management from the University of Konstanz in Germany. In 2010, he received Master's Degrees (European Master in Government) at the University of Konstanz and the University of Pompeu Fabra. Paul's work typically lies at the intersection of Methodology and Political Sociology. In his work, Paul explores how citizens and political elites are affected by and adapt their behavior to the increased digitization of the political and social sphere and the corresponding technological transformation of society. Besides, he studies how new methods and data (e.g., machine learning, audio data) can be adapted to studying social phenomena such as trust or polarization.
