Short Description

Sebastian Prechsl joined the Data Science and AI Lab (SODA) at LMU Munich in January 2025. As a postdoctoral researcher at SODA and the Institute for Employment Research (IAB), he is part of the DFG funded project “Integrating data donation in survey infrastructure: Quantifying, explaining, and addressing errors in representation and measurement”.

He studied sociology with a minor in economics at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg, where he also completed his PhD in 2022. Besides his focus on data donation, his further research interests include the emergence and consequences of social inequalities in the labor market context with a particular focus on social networks, health, and subjective wellbeing.
