Johannes Piller

Johannes Piller studied mathematics at the Technical University Munich, with a semester abroad at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In addition to his academic career, he has five years of professional experience as a consultant in the financial industry, where he specialized in risk modelling. As a doctoral candidate at the statistical consulting unit (StaBLab), he will be researching the topic of survival analysis, more precisely multi-state modelling and routinely collected health data.
