Information
The Graduation Ceremony of the department of statistics will be held on October 30th 2026 at 4pm in the large auditorium, LMU main building. All students that finished their studies in the winter term 2025/26 or the summer term 2026 are cordially invited.
Please note that this is the academic Graduation Ceremony. We would like to celebrate your achievements with you, but we will not hand out your final documents, those have to be requested at the examination office.

FAQ
All students that have finished their studies (Bachelor, Masters or PhD) in the winter term 2025/26 or the summer term 2026 are invited.
Yes you can come as long as you have finished all modules of your program.
Yes, please get in touch with your supervisor and get a confirmation that those modules are passed. Please send us the confirmation by the end of the registration period.
In this case you unfortunately have to wait for next year. All modules have to be finished and listed on your transcript. The only exception can be the thesis with a confirmation of your supervisor.
Yes, please come. We want to celebrate your achievements together.
No we will not hand our your graduation certificate. This will be issued by the examination office once you filled out the form on their website.
Due to the limited space you can bring a maximum of 3 guests.
We will send out a timeline to all registered graduands before the event. We expect that the formal part of the afternoon will end around 6pm, and then we will have a champagne reception in the senate hall.
