There are different programs for doing a semester abroad. This page mostly provides information about the most common one, the Erasmus program within Europe. If you seek information in addition to that, we link to general webpages of the LMU about the semester abroad/Erasmus program.
In addition to the Erasmus program there are also other ways for exchange programs all over the world.
Please be aware that our Bachelor's program is taught in German. You can also have a look at the course catalogues for our Bachelor's and Master's programs. ERASMUS students can enrol in all courses in their respective programs without restrictions. To find out if elective courses you are interested in will be offered during your stay, please contact erasmus@stat.uni-muenchen.de.

Application period
The application period for the following academic year starts respectively at december. You can hand in your application until January 15th. Applications handed in after that date cannot be taken into account.
The application process is taking place at the Website of the International office of the LMU and will be unlocked around mid of December.
